What I'm Up To: Friday, August 29th, 2014

I've got some more bad news to share with all of you: my group home administrator Sue got a letter in the mail telling me that my monthly Social Security disability checks got cut by $90, which essentially means that I will have to talk to my elders at my college about the possibility of working on campus during the day; and, in other news, my brother-in-law is out of town and my mother won't be able to come and get me to sign the paperwork until next week, which means that I will lose the land on 3924 Overdale because of my mother not being able to pay back taxes on the property. And, if I sign the paperwork, then I no longer own the land.

It's kind of funny, now that I think about it. I mean, Congress has been giving tax breaks to the richest 1% of the population and raising taxes on those less fortunate for as long as anyone can remember, and it's all because of the Federal Reserve, which prints out counterfeit money like it's nothing. But you know what? I'm just going to keep my chin up and continue fending for myself as the punches fall like rain. Either way, I'm still determined to make a name for myself.
