When the whole world falls apart
Right in front of me?

When everyone that I know
Takes me for granted?

Knowing that one small moment
Might just be my last?
Either way, my life
Is going to end someday,
So now I'll just live.

What's it like in heaven?
I'd really like to know
cos you're there and I miss you
and I'd really like to go.
Is there always sunny weather,
aromatic fields of heather,
beautiful the skies of blue
and as always lots to do?
Do you dine at good restaurants
with all the delicacies you could want?
A window table just for two
where you know, I'd like the view.
Is everybody kind to you,
loving, caring, honest, true?
Hope you're making some good friends
but know our love will never end.
Do you look down here from time to time?
You will see I'm doing fine,
missing you like crazy , true
but one day for sure ,soon

Under the rain she stood
Waiting for him to return, like she thought he would
The rain blends in with the tears
As she stands there for days, months, and years
Her stormy eyes, dark as coal
Her heart left with an empty hole
She watched the clouds pass across the skies
Her hurt and sadness she seeks to disguise
Thunder rumbles, and lightning crashes
All her faith and hope dashes
Standing there in the pouring rain
Waiting for someone who never came
