What's wrong? Is there something in the air?
Do you feel a cold breeze graze your hair?
What's wrong? Can you tell me why you're crying?
Do you feel like you're close to dying?

Well, I've felt these feelings run up and down my spine
And I've seen the death of everyone I've loved
And I've overcome great obstacles and serpentine
So trust me when I say that you're my beloved

Have you seen the blood flow freely down your father's nuque?
Have you thought about committing suicide at times?
Because if so, then I know what it's like to feel the hook
As it thrusts into the skin  beneath the howling chimes

Trust me, everything will be just fine
No longer will there be tears across the skyline
Trust me, for there are ties that do bind
For when the time comes, we will face the end together, take my hand

What's wrong? Do you feel the zepyhrean winds?
Is the hand of Christ telling you to make your own decisions?
Tell me, I don't mind hearing your tragedies
Let me comfort you as I write your own epiphanies

Everything you have seen and done I see daily
As I'm witness to the end of many friends
So follow me tonight and we will ride around the bends
Past all time and space you'll see that I'm your family

We will go beyond the sky and across all the seas
We will weather all the elements and hold our own
We will travel through dimensions and the birds and bees
Because as you can see, you'll know you'll never again walk alone

Trust me, everything will be fine
No longer will there be tears across the skyline
Trust me, for there are ties that do bind
For when the time comes, we will face the end together, take my hand

Take my hand, don't be afraid
Feel the bond of blood as it enters you with its embrace
Take my hand, and you will be my maid
You are the sun, and the stars, you're the one that keeps me in place

Here's the backstory for this song: A woman has just lost everything-- her family, her house, her will to live-- and now she is on the verge of suicide. She is about to fall off the bridge when a man who has been through the things she's been through. She hears about his pain, his tragedy, his sorrow, his grief, and she realizes that he's the one for her. So, putting her trust in him, the woman takes her man by the hand as they both fall off the bridge together, growing wings and spreading them as they prepare for the eternal flight to Heaven.

uhm, marvelous poem, but one question; what's a nuque?
